Please note that registration is NOT COMPLETE until your fee is submitted. This fee is\u00a0<strong>NON-REFUNDABLE<\/strong>. By registering and paying your player fee, you are acknowledging that you understand your fee is non-refundable. You also acknowledge that games played on premises owned by the owner of our rented facility are subject to that entity's decision regarding facility playability due to any condition. Oak City Pickleball League also reserves the right to reschedule matches due to weather-related issues.<br \/><br \/><strong>Summer I 2026 Season: June 1, 2026 \u2013 July 6, 2026.<\/strong><br \/>14 matches per doubles teams are planned for six Mondays at our rented facility; all games are governed by facility declarations mentioned in the above paragraph.<br \/><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Note:<\/span> Teams are split into two pools after the first date; we attempt to have each team in each pool play all teams in that pool during a season, but we do not guarantee this outcome.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Match Dates:<br \/><\/strong>June 1, 2026<br \/>June 8, 2026<br \/>June 15, 2026<br \/>June 22, 2026<br \/>June 29, 2026<br \/>July 6, 2026<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Photography<br \/><\/strong>I authorize Oak City Pickleball League and Oak City Athletics to use any image captured on film or video for publication on its website or other league-related promotional purposes without further consideration.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Code of Conduct<br \/><\/strong>Before registration is complete, we would like to communicate to all potential players that we have a code of conduct that we expect everyone to agree to and submit as part of becoming a player in our league. We are interested in building a supportive, respectful program that is a safe place for everyone who is a member. In that regard, please read, understand, and agree to the following code of conduct:<\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>1) There will be\u00a0<strong>zero tolerance<\/strong>\u00a0for verbal or physical abuse of any kind, including threatening behavior, toward players or staff (this includes Oak City Pickleball League leadership team members and\/or facility staff, security, or associated persons). This behavior will result in an immediate and permanent ban from Oak City Pickleball League.<br \/><br \/>2) There is no scenario where stealing of equipment or any other item belonging to another party is acceptable.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>3) There is no scenario where intentional defacement or damage of Oak City Pickleball League's facility or its environment is acceptable.<br \/><br \/>Any of the above three items, when reported or noticed by league officials, will be the subject of a meeting of officials and immediate scrutiny, which may result in a reprimand and a warning. A flagrant violation may include a permanent ban from league participation; this is at the discretion of league officials after reviewing the scope and severity of actions being analyzed.
